  • Don is the Guest Conductor for a residency at Carnegie Hall in New York City, June 20-24, 2024, sponsored by Mid-America Productions and featuring performances of Dan Forrest's "Te Deum" and Kevin  Boesiger's "Songs of Healing and Hope."

  • ​​Don is excited to announce the presentation of a series of conducting clinics - "The Refreshed Conductor" - and - "The Expressive Conductor."  "The Refreshed Conductor" will be offered the weekend of July 19-20. Click here for details and registration information.

  • I am thrilled, honored, and humbled to have been the 2023 recipient of the Shenandoah University Alumni Association's Distinguished Alumni Award for Lifetime Achievement ! This is an incredible honor and I am so proud to claim Shenandoah as my Alma Mater....thank you, SU!!

  • In December 2024, The Resident Music Companies of the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts, Symphonicity (the symphony orchestra of Virginia Beach), The Tidewater Winds, and the Virginia Beach Chorale, will join forces to present "The Resident Companies Concert," a celebration of holiday music, under the direction of Don, Maestro Daniel Boothe (Symphonicity), and Maestro John Brewington (Tidewater Winds).
