Sing From the Heart - Building the Emotionally Expressive Choir
Thursday, April 24 - 4:30 pm

Don Krudop, DMA

The emotionally expressive choir is an ensemble whose complete involvement in performance - vocally, mentally, physically, & emotionally - draws their audience into the story behind each song they sing through the use of appropriate choral technique, crisp, clear diction & articulation, and effective, artistic stage presence. Through this session, Don presents methodologies that will pave the way for directors to begin building choirs that touch the heart of their listeners. This session serves an an introduction to Don's workshops, "The Refreshed Conductor," and "The Expressive Conductor," where each participant's individual conducting style is reviewed and the potential for expression in choral singing is explored in more depth.
